Is there any way to set the FOV in Alliance? I'm guessing not since the cockpit just looks like an overlay, but I thought I'd ask to see if anyone has done it.

It can be done via XWA Hacker (changefov.bat). Haven't tried that myself yet so for now I can't help you out.

The most simple way should be to use XWA Hacker to change the res to a triple screen resolution.
