I've been looking for it everywhere but it's nowhere to be found on the web...

Try download french iso from the internet archive (https://archive.org/details/cdrom-xwa-fr) and replace the good files

EDIT : lucky guy I just find it on my drive and uploaded it to https://archive.org/details/xwa-french-language-pack-xwalp-frenchv-1.0

I went to archive.org and I hadn't seen the French version... What an idiot!

I used the first solution and it worked, I'm so happy! Your link to the patch will surely help some French speakers who will pass through it in the years to come because on this site, it is not likely to disappear...!
