I have a problem with the X-Wing and Tie-Fighter. IN both cases I play the 1998 collectors edition. As we all know, music has been an issue forever. But now it is getting worse, because often instead of starting a new track the game just crashes to desktop. It might be my imagination, but it seems that this is something new and has started with the new patch provided by gog adressing the music issue. At least it happens far more often now. And since X-Wing is really not an easy game, it is kind of annoying playing a mission, just to get a crash, instead of the victory music. Is there anything that could help. I remember that changing some of the dll files (or something to this effect, it was quite a time ago) worked better than now...

Same thing happening here. Using Win11.

Seems random though. Sometimes it happens, sometimes not.
