Greetings, fellow pilots!

So, in Battle 3 Mission 5 Tie Fighter crashed for me twice in a row. (Interestingly both times when I hit something with laser cannons the exact moment it happened.) I play now on the 1998 version, but I just remembered: if I recall correctly, the exact same thing happened to me when I was playing the original version under DOS. I'm not sure about this, because it was decades ago, but I remember something similarly frustrating happening. And I don't remember how I circumvented it. I think I played all the other missions until I HAD to complete this mission to progress. And then it was suddenly alright.

But I'm not sure, my memories are quite hazy, but if this is true, it might be a known problem. Known for like 20 years. Does anyone know anything about this?
