I am currently playing the 1994 DOS version on my Mac (I ran the downloaded .exe with wineskin, then moved the game folder over into Boxer, and it works great with no further tweaking.)

However, when I try this same technique with the 1995 CD-ROM version, I get an error message (paraphrasing): "ERROR #3: Please insert CD-ROM". I also tried running the game with Wineskin instead of Boxer, but the game simply crashes and will not load.

Anyone have any suggestions?

Yes, both Collector's Edition (TIE FIghter and X-Wing) versions are Mac-compatible as of now :)

The Mac versions (1994 and 1995 CD) can both be played with keyboard/mouse.
