Game wont launch, installed it via Galaxy client. did install both apps form the sticky

screen goes black, a white pointer turns into a gloved hand then game crashes.

Windows 8.1 64-bit
Amd Phenom II x6
8 Gb Ram
Nvidia Gefotre GTX 760 4Mb

I also had this problem. It turned out that the problem was the GOG Galaxy client. Not just launching, but installing it through Galaxy caused the crash. I downloaded it from the website and launched it with no problems.

Tried using the GOG downloader thing, doesnt work either, same symptoms =/

I am having the exact same problem; please could use some help on this issue

Update Fixed.
Reinstalled from the download link installation (not galaxy) pressed options in the install menu and in install path I removed GOGGalaxy pathway so its D:/Games/..............

Edit: Never mind, I did manage to get it working by downloading the installer manually, but it turns out I had to also run it once manually first, before I could launch it through the Galaxy Client at all. I'll leave the crash report below so hopefully GOG can eventually fix this.
