Don't know how to fix the lag but I've tried to use my wireless xbox360 controller for PC and it worked unlikely fine !
The controller was decteted from the menu, but not during the game. So I went to the "Joystick controls" menu, and calibrated it as "Default" (It couldn't calibrate it myself, it didn't seem to work). Then the controller worked very fine during the game.

I'll play it with my controller for sure.

Can you force it to run on one of the two GPUs? Any one should do. Or is it just the mouse that lags?

How did you do this? I have a 360 controller and it's not detected.
I thought the mouse felt sluggish whilst over-sensitive at the same time, but once I'd dropped the sensitivity down I noticed that it was actually lagging behind the input, so I'd move the mouse left and it would take a moment to move the reticule left. I guess this is what you mean?

Playing with keyboard only works fine, though, although a little jarring as it isn't very smooth being a digital input instead of an analog input.

I'm going to give my wired 360 controller a try tomorrow evening, see how that gets on.

I have wondered whether it is a result of modern mice with higher polling rates that is causing this, but I don't have other mice to test that theory with and I don't think I can change the polling rate of my mouse.
