Running Windows 8.1, and my game runs and crashes no matter what compatibility mode I choose, and this includes changing the resolution to the 640x480 resolution in all combinations. Any help would be appreciated

Still doesn't work. I get the Windows window "Application has stopped running...checking windows for a solution" every time.

Same here, exact same problem.
I have Win7 x64, Nvidia GTX 970 with latest drivers.

Also getting a crash as soon as I try to launch. Goes to black full screen for a few seconds then crashes saying the application has stopped running. Running in comp mode makes no difference.
Running Windows 7 64 bit, GeForce GTX 760
UPDATE: I can however get this game to launch just fine on my older laptop which is running Windows Vista 64 bit.

I upgraded my drivers (latest nvidia that came out yesterday) and now it works.
I have other problems now (camera ingame, remapping buttons) but at least it launches.
