Placing Decoys in Missions
Hi, I played the Game for years when young. I made to win that time 1x as Imperium (easy, small Galaxy). In all the years i never found out how this "decoy" windows works in the Missions. English is not my native language so forgive me mistakes please, more difficult is for me reading english language.

I do that for spy missions.

I take 1 (for example "Shenir Rix) and send her lets say to Corellia (on rebels side), selecting her, set mission on Spionage and confirm. and then? Do i have to add more personal for it? Tryed several times, even with 2 Spys (Noval Graint and Menndo)

What i have to do? I don`t check the way how to place the decoys. I always got error messages from the Droid (can`t do that because that)

Thanks for help and taking time reading my question

Decoys personnel create diversions away from your main personnel. ie: the decoy isn't part of the 'main' mission but keeps opponent personnel from detecting your main person. In theory the decoys increase your chance of success when the opponent has high security.

I say in theory because it all depends on what personnel and troops your opponent has on your target planet/ship. Decoys don't always work and sometimes will get captured in place of your main person.

If your opponent had personnel/troops with *high value stats in detection, then you'll want to have *more decoys.

When placing decoys I've found that you need to use personnel with *high value stats in espionage.
Right click on a character and you can view their 'status'. Then you can see a character's stats in different areas.
eg: for a sabotage mission I will:
For the main mission choose a character(s) with *high value stat in combat.
For the decoy choose character(s) with *high value stat in espionage.

You want to hope your opponent doesn't have a general assigned with *high espionage stats because they'll likely detect your mission and it will fail.

Hope that helps.
