It seems that you're using an outdated browser. Some things may not work as they should (or don't work at all).
We suggest you upgrade newer and better browser like: Chrome, Firefox, Internet Explorer or Opera

Just installed the game and tried to run it and my colours are, I think, all reversed. So black appears as pink. Game's essentially unplayable.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how I should fix this?

Thanks in advance.
To add to this - as far as I can tell the game isn't rendering the colours properly and it's not picking up the colour thingies of my computer.

I don't think the colours are reversed any more, but they are all wrong, as if the game can't recognise how many colours it ought to display.
What OS do you have? Graphics card and driver version? We need more information to troubleshoot the problem.
are you running it off the desktop shortcut or the exe?

the desktop shortcut fixed my problems.

check this thread.

my guess is you are running windows 8. it's a problem with ddraw
I'm having what seems to be the same problem on a win7 SP1 laptop with a Radeon HD 6900M

I've tried multiple compatibility modes and turning off the "disable display scaling on high DPI settings", so far none of it makes any difference (except win95 compatibility mode makes it launch slower).
And I've just found that adding a -w to the shortcut (at the end, outside the quotation marks) to start it in windowed mode avoids the color problem, at least for me.

I contacted the support team who advised me to upgrade my graphics card drives and that, I'm pleased to say, has solved the problem.

Thanks for everyone's suggestions.
