Normally I'd be all for it. But since it's highly pixelated movie footage, I can see much better quality elsewhere.
Hitting spacebar (as in modern games) doesn't skip but pauses. It takes a very long time to get the game part loaded as it is even not count the intro
I own the game, but haven't installed and played it myself, yet. Have you tried pressing the ESC (escape) key ?, as most games I have played that had intro videos allowed you to skip them by pressing said key...
That did finally start working, thanks. Although I AM still having occasional crashing issues. Very unnerving not knowing if escape will totally kill it!
The ESC key normally skips thru them. I have to click once with the mouse before ESCing thru them, but that's a simple thing.

Thank you Hotspur. It was driving me crazy trying to figure out how to skip the intro. Your trick to click the mouse first, then esc worked perfect.
