I love playing this game again but it really looks odd in this resolution. I have looked around online for a patch but they all seem to be a little unreliable, or the links to them are just old or broken.

I don't suppose anyone on here has managed to patch it, or if there are any plans for there to be an update on GOG? I get that they would probably just release a new HD version if they were going to bother at all, but just curious in case someone can help.

Yup, with many complaining that the patch crashes the game. Also, GOG not adopting it themselves...looking for a reliable one.
