The DarkXL Engine is no longer in development. However, the creator of DarkXL has been working on "The Force Engine" instead. This engine is being designed to be compatible with the original Dark Forces and Outlaws. It is project designed to reverse-engineer and rebuild the Jedi Engine used in the games previously mentioned. The Force Engine is much more focused than DarkXL, with an emphasis on accuracy. Of course, you will need to have original game data to play. It is currently in a pre-release state. If you wish to read more there will be a link to the website below.
