I run Windows 11.

I just installed S.T.A.L.K.E.R. Shadow of Chernobyl. Upon the first run, there is an executable who requires escalated privileges (GSC Game World). Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

I am against requiring admin rights for any games, especially one that might still have a multiplayer vulnerability in patch 1.0006 (no reported fix yet).
