I've tried reinstalling twice and verifying my game 3 times, but my installation keeps saying it is broken.
I have 0 clue why.

There is another thread on this topic. Unfortunately, the Galaxy installer seems to be broken for SoC. What many have done is to download the GOG installer (or the individual files), and then install manually. This seems to work just fine. My Galaxy installation even picked it up after this, updated it, and it now works through Galaxy, though that last step is completely optional. Good luck.
