i recently purchased call of pripyat off g2a the code worked fine. i install the game. i click on play the game asks for administrator access i do yes then it spits out a error saying C:\windows\system32\d3dx9_42.dll is either not designed to run on windows or it contains an error. try installing the program again using the original installation media or contact your system administrator or the software wendor for support. error status 000012f i searched the error code to no avail and ive reinstalled the game i searched up the dll file and nothing relating to the issue what should i do?

please post a possible soulotion please and thanks.

P.S i havent fiddled with the dll file as it might fuck up my system as it is sys 32 lel

I am not sure but try installing directx 9.0c, plus you bought a code from g2a not really a legit site.

lel then why would the game install if not legit plus im on windows ten 64bit

I heard the game codes are stolen or key re sellers.That is why it's cheaper there then here,if the game suddenly will be gone from your library then you will know why.
I also have windows 10 64 bit and i can play the game with out problems.

fixed i installed a program called dll fixer it looked like bloat ware but i just tested it and it fixed my dll so im happy
