I am trying to get through the second part of the tutorial. I hold the control key to bring up the menu, move the mouse over the lock picks, and left-click on them. However, the lock picks are not selected. I have tried the right mouse button and a bunch of other combinations. The interactive menu never gives me an option to pick the lock. Any ideas? Windows 7 64-bit. I also tried to uninstall and reinstall. Thanks!

It should be left click for item selection. Do the lockpicks appear in the bottom right of the screen after you click on them in the item menu? Because if they are then IIRC you have to left click on the door to use them.

Thanks for the reply! No I do not see them at the bottom of the screen after I click on them. I tried Google all day and watched a few videos. I can bring up the menu and see the lock picks. After I hover over them and left click on them, then the menu closes but the lock picks icon does not appear at the bottom right as expected.

Try running as administrator. I have never had this problem so I can't say for sure that it would work, but that's usually the first thing I try.
