Hey everyone,
I have recently bought and installed Spellforce 2, Anniversary Edition. I started up the game and found it be a little bit slow playing. Just slight inconsistencies like not being able to scroll around the map with the mouse because it would start hitching a lot.
At some point the tutorial asked me to draw a selection box around my units, but I just could not do it. I click on the ground and start dragging my mouse, but nothing happens. I have no idea why, but I attributed this to the performance problems.
After looking online for a solution and finding nothing I have decided to just turn down the graphics of the game and it worked ! Now I could draw a selection box around my units as well !
But then soon after the performance started dipping again, going near unplayable.
Next I tried to install a Patch to fix this issue (even tho the Anniversary Edition should not require it), but it did nothing.
I have tried out the game mere moments ago, and have found out something new: the game starts out allright and then rapidly deteriorates in performance over a short time (less than 5 minutes).
Has anyone experienced something similar ?
