I bought the IV+V pack on Steam yesterday. It didn't work, even after tweaking for an hour where it worked until I started the tutorial (hang). So I asked for a refund and got it.

Hence the question: will the Gog version work on Win 11? I want to know for sure before I buy because getting a refund here is not as easy and the pack is more expensive here (because it's the complete series).

I wonder whether you are still looking at this post. Purchased from gog (complete edition) and both 4 and 5 work out of the box without any tweaks or fixes. I purchased cd version of this while ago by paying about 80 from Compusmart (now gone) (cd and printed manual wrapped in vinyl ) and V about 20 from EB. Unbelievable price here at the god ^^ especially on sale.

Hypothetically. You might want to limit the amount of video memory that V uses in the built in options.

I just installed IV on my Win 11 machine and played a bit of the tutorial without having to do anything tonight.
