Yeah, I'll try to change the file and report back.
One other thing to add. My coop buddy says that his middle mouse button allows him to do the camera work (rotate etc). In my case nothing happens, obviously, it works fine when I'm in windows (7) and in other games—that's why I wanted to switch num7 and num9.
Actually, I remember I had sort of the same issue before, in other games. When I ran Steam in admin mode I didn't have access to middle button at all; I wonder if this is related.
Anyway, thanks for the help. I'll investigate a bit more and I'll let you know how it goes.

-UPDATE 2- -----SOLVED-----
/////// \\\\\\\\ Seems like I fixed the final issue I had with the game.
I said I couldn't use the middle mouse button to rotate the camera.
I ended up
HERE. Some suggested to uninstall the mouse drivers. Even tho I use Setpoint drivers (logitech mx518 + uberoptions) and not intellimouse ones. It sure worked.
I'm not sure if it's related to the win XP sp2 compatibility mode or something else, but it worked! I can finally rotate the camera with no problem.

-UPDATE 1-
/////// \\\\\\\\ Yes, I was able to change they 'keys' file. As Namur noted, I had to move it to a another location, change it in notepad and paste it back to the original location—permissions.
For you Vista/win7 users out there:
Q:When you launch the game does the UAC warning popup as well? Yyou know, "Do you want to allow the following program from an unknown publisher to make changes to yhis computer yes/no" type of question.
In my case I have to grant it permission, this might be related to the lack of middle mouse button support I have in my game. Anyone else has the same problem ?
Oh, by the way, just to be clear; I'm
not in a windows 7 'limited' account. I know you have to grant access to certain applications, even in a windows admin account but, I just wanted it to be clear that I have admin permissions, in general.
