When I try to switch weapons via "next weapon" and "previous weapon" key bindings, I am unable to do so and have to use the "inventory group" keys, this is especially a problem because I play with a split keyboard (in which I put one half away from the other side and the mouse to make myself more comfortable during play). Also the worst case of this happening is when I have an M60, in which if I equip that, the next and previous weapon binds become useless and cannot switch from it.

I dunno if this is some weird glitch but it does make gameplay annoying especially if I want to quickly switch weapons.

You have activated fast switch in options? There is an option for that. :D

EDIT: Actually my mistake, that's the multiplayer application. That's nice to know... if I was playing multiplayer. My problem is in single player.

Ah, I see I’m not the only one having this issue. I’m not sure how to fix it, hence why I just end up using the number key bindings instead. Shame no one has a fix for this, though the disappearing bodies is the primary thing I’d like to mod.

You have safe weapon switching on ,turn on normal weapon switching with the u key by default

or you might have best safe wpn or best unsafe wpn but either way the u key should work
