I recently bought SoF1 on GOG and when I tried to install it using GOG Galaxy, the game does not work. It will not run no matter what I do. I've tried compatibility settings, etc. The game just refuses to run.

Any ideas?

Thanks,
Tech

The fix is to just go into the game's folder, where ever you installed it, and make a copy of the SoF.exe file. Then to run the game off that copy. GG game works.

It's best to call that copy quake2.exe to trigger Windows 10's internal compatibility database which supports the mainline Quake games better than games derived from their engines.
