Ages ago I spoke to someone who claimed to be from China and he said if the Chinese weren't fine they would complain. I would argue that this is something that should be complained about.


Now to some more immediate solutions:
- Use the Tor browser.
- If you are afraid of installing an alternative browser, can you use free online services that download videos from YouTube? Like TelechargerUneVideo? (That site also provides a second link, which might or might not use their server as a proxy.)
