I've had notifications that I've gotten points in this or that but I can not access the skill screen. It's set to "I". It does nothing. I've re-mapped it and still it does not work. I've reset all keys to default and still nothing.
Skill tab does not even show up.

Never mind. You have to complete the first mission. I was about to give up on the game before that happened. Stupid.
