Hey guys,

is there any way to adjust the game resolution, so I can see more of the actuall screen? Because my Pc is running at 1680x1050 and this makes the interface pretty small. The option "fullscreen mode" in the menu won't work for me.

From my understanding, you have to change the actual resolution of your desktop and then restart Smugglers V.

I'm using 1360 x 780 or whatever that one is and it's working great.

You can use a utility called Display Changer which will automatically change your desktop resolution prior to starting the game which works well for me allowing me to just click on the desktop icon for Smugglers and have it auto change the res from my native 1920 x 1080 to a full screen 800 x 600.

P.S. to get this to work you will also need to un-check the full screen option in the Smugglers V options.

Hi there. For me, with Windows XP, fullscreen mode makes things bigger, but still leaving wide black margins all around. I think that is intentional: in that space you can keep several windows open: buy/sell, information... Gameplay becomes more fluid that way.

in the "game setting" menu there is an option called "Fullscreen mode" that will switch your resolution immediately.

I recommend to not switch your resolution down, even when your screen has a resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. First the pictures just look better this way and second you need the space for popup windows like the trade prices.

In the upcoming expansion the main screens (travel and combat) NATIVE resolution has been enlarged for those with larger screens. This increased native resolution will become available for the original game after the release of the expansion at some point - that is when it has been tested with the original game.
