Is there anything in the game that keeps track of your various tasks? I just got a mission from a planet to go find plant specimens in another galaxy. Is that info recorded somewhere so I can check it later? If not, this should be added to the game I think. It could get confusing to have many different things going at the same time. Do any of you make your own notes on the game?2

Sadly no, but returning to the planet repeats the info, and there's no time limit on these tasks.

I was amused that this is sort of lampshades in the game itself. Even if I fly directly to a transport location the game tends to reply that you forgot the person you were transporting was even aboard your ship. Which could very likely be true if you don't finish the mission right away.
