any suggestions as a pirate game play
i get second tier ship and fully upgrade defensvie gear
also how do i board other ships to capture them or ransom a guy
does a icon show up that i miss or what

also what class is better to play frist to get the hang of the game *easy wise*

I started as a pirate and it isn't too bad once you get set up.

Boarding is in the skill tree, on the the middle bottom ones. You need to EMP them and try a few times. And you need a strong crew, a lot of marines helps.

I find pirates really good at making money off the wars your faction will have before you make your own empire. Just take escort and scout missions until you feel you're strong enough for search and destroy. Battleships have to be boarded and taken since they can't be bought but they are one man armies so good luck with that.
