I am having problems getting SlaveZero to run in wine. Has anybody dont it yet? where they successful? What did you do?

Have you tried using an older version of Wine? According to WineHQ, the game should run with Wine 1.2.2. You should be able to install several versions of Wine concurrently using e.g. PlayOnLinux.
