I was very hesitant of buying Simcity 2000, because it was such an old game and using dos box. But since it was my birthday yesterday I decided lets throw away the 6$ on the chance it does work better than my gut feeling and past attempts of Simcity 2000 + dosbox via other means.

I have gotten very nostalgic for this game and baldurs Gate 2, after giving up on new games, even selling my gaming video card.

Well Simcity 2000 works absolutely great default install, I did install to a difference drive rather than c, but all other settings initially default. I played maybe 3 hours so far.

My machine is a Quad Core Phenom 2 965 BE, Asus Xonar DX soundcard, Windows 7 64bit, 8 gigs and currently using integrated onboard 3200 AMD vid with 256 megs allocated to it.

All I needed to know, nice. :)
