Wanted to double check. I just bought Silent Storm and i played through the tutorial. Am I right that there is NO cover? You can't shoot from cover, or around corners correct? I mean you can walk into the open, fire, and walk back behind complete cover safely, yes? Is there overwatch? It was not used in the tutorial.

Thanks for any info. : )

There is cover, but it's not like in X-COM where there are set points around objects showing where they are. Simply, if there's something between two characters, it will reduce the hit chance (and maybe damage). Lower stances (crouching, prone) can also reduce hit chance on that character as well. You can shoot from cover by changing your stance or moving out of cover. For example, you would have to uncrouch from behind the low wall, shoot, then recrouch. Or strafe from behind the corner, shoot, then back up behind the corner.

Overwatch in Silent Storm is called Interrupts. It's automatic based on the character's skill. When you end a turn with the character having enough remaining AP to make an attack, they'll get a chance to get an interrupt when they spot a new enemy or when they get shot at, but not hit. Enemies get interrupts too, so it can be dangerous rushing around a corner blindly and having a guy with a pistol interrupting your turn to kill your guy.
