The game opens fine, shows the KONAMI logo, and then it'll get stuck on it. Sometimes the screen stays black, sometimes it just stays with the KONAMI logo frozen in place, and other times the entire screen will decompose into little beans.
In any case, the game "works" because after a couple of seconds, I hear the intro video and I can skip it. Then I also hear the menu working. In fact, I can navigate through it by alt tabbing, which will refresh the image, but as soon as I alttab back into the game, the screen freezes again. I can even start a game, which correctly renders the first batch of text, but nothing else.
I've tried all sorts of things, like changing the game's resolution and video settings, changing things on the NVIDIA Control Panel, all sorts of compatibility and administration combos, and even underclocking my PC, but the problem persists.
Can you guys still play this game? I had no problems with it until a few days ago.
I'm on the latest Windows 11 update, with the latest NVIDIA Drivers. I'm assuming this is an issue with the latest Windows update and I doubt KONAMI will move a finger.
