After finding Cynthia's belongings at the Kings exit, you're supposed to pick up the placard that's hanging on the door.

Unfortunately, by some tomfoolery in the code, the placard you pick up says "Watchfulness Placard" when there's actually supposed to be a prompt to pick it up and the placard being the "Temptation Placard". The game freezes from here and is unplayable.

I've seen gameplays of this specific GOG version on YouTube where players pick up the correct placard, so I'm here wondering what the hell went wrong with my installation.

Either way, please provide a fix for this as the game cannot be progressed beyond this point.
