I currently have a Radeon 3850, but when I try to run Shogo with hardware acceleration, it goes black for a bit and then returns to software rendering. I have triple buffering enabled and I close out of my other programs, but still no luck. I have all the other settings working fine, just no hardware acceleration. Any ideas?

I could only run in software rendering at first too, but the following worked for me:
After the game loads, hit the tilde key to bring up the console.
Type: maxfps 30
Push tilde again to exit the console.
I played through the whole game in hardware rendering on the max resolution with no problems after this fix, although it has to be done everytime the game is launched.
Hmm, tried that, but I get the same result. I typed in maxfps 30 and then went to options, changed rendering mode to d3d, and it went back to software when the screen stopped being blank.
