According to this user's post the steam version has DX 11 shaders in the installed game, whereas the gog version only has DX 9! So will we get an updated patch?

Just contacted gog about it, I will update you with what the support guys say. and if they say it's nothing they can do then do not buy it here. I will get a refund if they cant give the 64bit version for us.

Does not matter, you can demand a refund for stuff like this, I am not happy AT ALL that the game is missing the other half like that. unless it was by mistake but yeah we will see when they respond to me.

Thanks for the updated info...And yeah, that is quite odd to not include the 64 bit version into the remake!

No kidding! I am talking with some people and MIGHTshoot and purchase the shantae game from steam and see the folder and refund it right away to see if this is true. why remove a 64bit exe unless they did it for more compatibility with older systems there crowd has? beats me really.

Hopefully, it hasn't been hardcoded into only working for steam's specific API, though I doubt it would be simple enough to use a steam-specific 64 bit shaders/exe file into gog's version...I hope I'm proven wrong though.
