I own the Steam version of this game and there is a problem with it that I'm thinking of buying the Gog version to resolve.
There is a bug in the current version (on Steam, probably in the Gog version as well) that didn't exist in earlier versions of the game (the Deep in the Mire quest doesn't award the Energy Passive properly). In order to fix this I need to roll back the game to a previous version. Steam doesn't allow me to do this for Seven and forces the latest version on you. I'm not sure if Gog does the same.
Is it possible to play earlier versions of this game on Gog? Are Gog saves compatible with Steam saves?
