Of course StrongholdHD-Style would be best way to go (free update for all GOG owners...), but I wouldn´t mind spending a few bucks on such an upgrade anyways. Well, it´s up to the devs!

I have some issues hosting a multiplayer server.

This game was always iffy for me, I own the gog version and played with that friend online but only after fiddling around with stuff and tons of configuration.

Even hamachi and gameranger doesn't work. Does anybody else have advice on this?

Also the HD version has some minor balancing changes and seems to be updated in the future which is kind of neat.
