I had 7K2 on disc a couple of years ago, and i distinctly remember playing a Fryhtan campaign, yet in the HD remake there is only one (human) campaign available? Am i overlooking something, or has that particular campaign been removed from the remake?

Well, yesternight I checked it out. 7K2 (old version) strangely didn't run at all on my WinXP giving me 'Runtime error', while 7K2HD runs flawlessly. But nevertheless I compared the content of the Campaign folder in both versions, and they are absolutely identical (there are Tutorial and Main campaign, named East (?)).

In 7K2HD there's no Fryhtan campaign but you can play Fryhtans in scenarios (and maybe in some scenarios of the main campaign too? I can't say 'cause I still haven't played 7K2HD campaign, only some single scenarios).

Thank you Vissavald. It seems then that my old version might have been modded (I got the game form a CD included in the PC Gamestar magazine; dunno from when that was though.....)

Well, to be completely sure, I got 7K2 ISO from a Russian site Old-Games dot ru (I can't recommend it enough;)), installed the game and yes, there's no separate Fryhtan campaign. You can play Fryhtans in tutorial (2 or 3 scenarios), in premade scenarios and in customized random maps but there's only one campaign, and it's for Humans.

It's a pity indeed that there's no Fryhtan campaign, I really like these guys (especially stone ones, don't remember correctly - Grokken?)
