Given that Online Community features are disabled in-game, but there's an option during the Character Creation to "Browse" character Presets (other than the default 6-8), I have a question:
If I download a Char Preset that somebody else created & exported (downloaded as a file with extension *.character), is there a way for me to insert the file somewhere in the game directory, so that I can use this character?
(I completely suck at creating non-ugly characters, so I have to rely on somebody else's work to make my Playa/Boss/PotUS look even remotely passable.)
Back when the community tab was still a thing (on Steam version), I had about 10 different characters queued through my profile, and those were downloaded/stored locally - I didn't have to reconnect to SR.com to re-download those ever time I started New Game.
Is there a possibility to do the same thing with current GOG version of SR IV? And if yes, then how?
