Its a real pain having to change the page file size every time I want to play this game (I'm playing the demo at the moment). Do GOG.COM have any plans for fixing this error before I purchase this game?
Thanks
Sacrifice was the first game I purchased here at GOG. It did have the pagefile error, however, after I notified customer service of this inconvenience they modified the code and uploaded a new installer for the game. I have run this new version without any issues successfully with a pagefile of 3072MB.
Customer service was fantastic on this issue and I applaud their responsiveness.

Great - I'll probably get this at the end of the month then when I should have some free time.
Thanks
The version that I have downloaded form GOG does not have this problem. However if you install the patch that was listed by the "Helpbot" in Sacrifice's multiplayer channels, you will end up with that problem.
Wyt uploaded a new patch that supposedly solves that problem.
It's great to know that the version on GOG has already fixed the problem. If anyone has ongoing problems, such as if patches recreate the issue, there is a patch available from http://aluigi.altervista.org/patches.htm.
Download the Lame Patcher (http://aluigi.org/mytoolz.htm#lpatch) and direct the program to 'Open' the address "http://aluigi.altervista.org/patches/sacrifice_pagefile.lpatch" as if it were a location on your computer.
It will activate the file and ask you where the Sacrifice.exe file is. Give it that location and it will automatically patch the file, fixing the problem.

Thank you very much The Unshaven !! :)
