Hi all- need a bit of help here. :\

No matter what I've tried so far- I can't get Sacrifice to work for LAN play. :(

The LAN game option I understand doesn't work since its IPX only.

The TCP/IP option seemed like my best bet- but whoever is trying to join never finds the hosted game.

I even tried playing it over Gameranger- but the joining player gets stuck at "Waiting for Host", while the host is led to the character selection screen- but can't host.
(TCP/IP option does nothing, and the LAN game option immediately tries to host a game- but its called it "Invalid Device" or something like that. Its not an actual error message- its the actual name the hosted game seems to be given.)

Maybe it has something to do with the fact that I have to choose the display option every time I launch the game? (I.E: Direct HAL or one other option)

Anyone else have these problems and know what to do?

Can you provide some screenshots?
Took me a while before I tried again- but here's an image of what I run into with hosting via Gameranger.

I go to LAN Game- and automatically get this hosting message. (The game never seems to get hosted)

TCP/IP never connects (and doesn't seem to work with Gameranger- as it seems to do nothing automatically with it)

Any ideas what the problem could be?

Thanks for the report! I can confirm that Sacrifice was indeed broken in GameRanger.

Please try again, it should work fine now!
