Hi folks.

Has anyone fixed the Charnel Mission 5 map using the scapex editor that comes with the game?

As you know, it's not possible to get Charnel's Mission 5 boon due to a bug unless you add Gangrel to your altar.

I'm not able to load the map in the editor as scapex crashes when I load (ch05).scp.

I'd appreciate it if anyone could share the fixed map here.

Ok the solution was to load the editor on an older computer.

Does that mean you now have a fixed map? If so, maybe you could share it here as it looks like nobody else has one to share. I've not even tried to play Sacrifice yet. Too many games in my backlog.

Don't worry, it will be played, along with all the games in my backlog. Just takes a little time to work through them all.

Well, it's not completely fixed.

I first removed the impossible condition from the trigger that prevented you from getting the boon.

But then the mission somehow ends while Charnel is still talking:) So, there was clearly another issue with the triggers.

So, I just removed the events from one trigger and put it in the other and then deleted the other trigger.

As a result, an important conversation between Charnel and Stratos (that I'd already heard) is lost.

Fixing the map requires patience as one has to play the entire mission and then load it in the editor and make changes. I might try to fix the other issue with the triggers and upload the map.

Since you haven't played Sacrifice yet, I would recommend using the same map that came with the game, as it has the complete conversation, though the boon is broken.

If someone just wants the boon and has already heard the conversation, I can share the partly-fixed map with them now.

Once I've fixed the other issue with the triggers, I'll share the map and/or contact GOG to include it with the download.
