When starting the game, it chrashes and I get an error stating "error setting screen mode". It occurs right after I chose a Direct3D driver. Any idea how to solve this?

I just ran into the same problem. A guide to getting Sacrifice running on windows 7 64bit would have been awesome.

Changing desktop resolution to a lower one fixed it.
