Tried running it normally (Windows 10) and no dice. Running it in compatibility mode (windows 7 and 8) or messing with the driver options didn't work either. Would appreciate if anyone could lend me a hand with this.

CPU: AMD RYZEN 5 2600 6-Core 3.4 GHz

Motherboard: GIGABYTE B450M DS3H V2 AM4 AMD B450 SATA 6Gb/s Micro ATX AMD

RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB

HDD: WD Blue 3 TB Desktop Hard Disk Drive

do you know if you have DirectPlay set in your Win10 legacy options? even if you do already, deselect it and let windows uninstall it, then select it to install it again.
i recently installed Sacrifice again and it would black screen or CTD. used to work fine before for me. i'm guessing something messed with DirectPlay at some point as after uninstall/install of DirectPlay the game was working fine again
