I can only give you the same general advice you would get with any game under "Hosting Problems."
1) If you have a router, make sure the appropriate ports are open and being forwarded.
2) If you have a firewall, give permission for the game to bypass it or turn it off.
3) If you are using an anti-virus program, make sure it is not interfering with the game. Other applications that might interfere with hosting are spyware programs like Ad-Aware or Spybot, and some monitoring applications like Xfire. Turn them all off and try hosting without them.
If none of the above helps, I would check the internet for "hosting problems" with Sacrifice. One of the fansites might have information more specific to your problem.

This is not necessarily a hosting problem. Normally, all players in a Sacrifice game will need a bunch of ports configured to play, not just the host. This means that even if the Limecat has done everything right as the host, the joiners may not have.
This is a common problem with RTS games because they use peer-peer networking. It's even worse for games that use DirectPlay because they require a lot more ports open.
The better solution is to use the online gaming service, GameRanger, which makes all of this unnecessary.

3 Options
1) Forward the following ports on your router:
6500 UDP
2302-2400 UDP/TCP
6073 TCP
or
Enable DMZ / Static Nat (a router setting)
---------------------------------------------------------------------
2) Download Hamachi or GameRanger
----------------------------------------------------------------------
3) Hamachi + !host command
Here's a small guide:

*Note* Unfortunetly each hamachi server has a limit of 16 clients. (want more players? need to pay) :(
However just a though...
I don't know if it is possible but you could try GameRanger + !host ?

You will need to consider that the only way for people to join your game is if they have the software too.
