I just bought this game and was bummed when I saw the black Box cursor problem BUT it is fixed now.
*history .... I had a problem with blurry jpegs affecting Muvee Reveal and their tech traced it to a Graphic Card problem and were still looking into a solution ... I fixed that by removing my Video Driver .... rebooted ... windows 7 reinstalled (the driver that came with the computer ... rebooted ... and I stopped there because the Blurry Jpeg problem was gone !!! ...
Meaning .... somehow my video driver had gotten corrupted (during a crash or improper shutdown *lost power b4 That happened* ... But I got it working
However ... Sacrifice suffered from the Black Box cursor .....
So I went to my graphic control panel and on a whim hit UPDATE Drivers ...
Windows downloaded and installed Current Drivers off the internet ....
I checked my movie program and It was still working fine so then I checked Sacrifice and the Black box around the cursor was gone.
ORIGINAL Problem I had with the other program (my control panel said my Video drivers were UP TO DATE ... but uninstalling /reboot/windows installed original drivers/reboot FIXED That but I didn't think to UPDATE because I assumed Windows did that when it installed the driver after the first reboot ... and everything worked ...
UNTIL I had that Sacrifice problem
THEN I Updated my driver through the Control Panel and Everything Works
Moral of this Long-winded story is that *Just because Windows says your drivers are up to date ... they may be corrupted and by removing and following the path to UPDATE to Current worked.
Just throwing this out there for those who have the problem despite Windows saying everything is Up To Date ....
They may be Up To Date ... but may be corrupted ...
and as in my case with my original situation which affected ONLY that other program the only way I found that the driver was corrupted was by removing replacing and (Updating)
There is hope by doing so You may get rid of that Black Box around the cursor.
