I'm playing as a Seraphim, and I just got the Dual Wielding skill. I just can't seem to "switch it on", so to speak. I have a one-handed sword in each of the two weapon slots, but I can only use one or the other, not both at the same time. The manual is wholly uninformative on the subject. Can anyone help?
On that note, what the hell are shields for? I can use EITHER a sword OR a shield. What's the point with that?

I had tried putting both in the same slot, but that just switched them around. It seemed, as you say, to be a matter of dropping it two pixels to the left of where I was trying to put it. I found out purely by accident.

The Dark Elf can only do it, and they pwn. =)

So can the daemon, seraphim, and gladiator.

Never played as them. evil looking characters rawk.

I have a problem with my dark elf,I cant dual wield 2 Du Blade,although I have Dual wield skill but i just cant seem to wield both Du blade in one sloth,its the moon shaped blade
but the side back is,that the dark elf cant dual wield a Du blade,its the moon shaped blade I am talking about

If you mean the Thau Blade (the one with the curved blade on each end) it's a bug according to the SacredWiki - it should work if you keep trying :
"A pixel glitch makes it difficult to have two Thau blades in the same weapon slot. These are one handed weapons, however, and a little patience will result in the successful use of two of them in the same weapon slot."

I kept on trying to wield both Du blade in one slot but still it wont wield both,can anyone help
,My dual wield skill is 10 and yet i cant wield both Du blade,can anyone give me a hint on how to wiled both,my dual wield skill is 10 and blade combat 10,its the one with a curve blade on each end,I kept on trying and yet it wont,some say its a bug,but some say its a glitch that I don't even knew about it,sorry about the wrong spelling though,I was in a hurry

Dual-wielding Du Blades is tricky due to the size and placement of the sprites. The pixel placement for the Du blades are off or something. Just keep trying and you'll get it. So yeah it's a glitch. :-p

can any of you posts on how to perform the Pixel glitch,but something unusual happened

Holy necroposting, Batman!!!

So, I've been playing for a couple hours and I took dual wielding for my Seraphim. The thing is, either I'm doing something wrong, or the stats are bugged (or I don't know how to read them). Equipping two weapons rather than a weapon and a shield will reduce my defense (expected) and my attack/damage (WTF!) Using two weapons, my attack is less than it is by using only one. Also, the character only seems to be using one weapon in combat (there is no attack animation for the second weapon, she just holds it while attacking with the other). I'm not sure if the animation is supposed to show her using both weapons, but even if not, my stats should reflect that I'm using two weapons by making me have better attack (unless there's supposed to be some dexterity penalty that I'm not aware of and that's absolutely not mentioned in the manual afaik). So, can anyone enlighten me?
