never bothered to look at it at the start, thinking it would be easy to restat later , not.

i have these skills now:
weapon lore
concentration
armor
riding
sword lore
agility

riding is probably a useless skill, although i probably want to keep riding a horse which is gonna rule out dual sword (on horse)
i should have gone for constitution
so is there any way to change my stats besides base10's trainer? it does let you put in new skills but it gives me 8 skills when i currently have 6 and i can put in more points then i have. i just want 6 different skills with the points i have now.
i want to fix it , not cheat.

but on some forums even talking about such an option is prohibited even though its for single player. if there is no fix i can either play with an unneeded skill or change it and have an improper character.
and what skills should i put in as a gladiator (dual and not dual wield)?

edit:there is an editor here but unfortunately it doesnt work with saved games http://linkz44.tracker2k.kiev.ua/sacred/ (load a savegame , export your character and open it.

Unfortunately, I also don't know of any way to edit already selected skills, so you'll probably have to live with a useless skill (or re-build your char to take advantage of it, seeing you haven't yet selected dual wielding).
Or you could use the editor you mentioned at the end of your post, export the char, edit him, then start a new game using him. You'll lose your quest progress, but you'll be rid of Riding (it that's indeed possible - I don't know the editor personally).
Anyway, have you tried the DarkMatters forums? They're a very friendly, helpful community and I don't suppose they'd ban you for such a question (which is probably the case on the official boards.)

i already looked at the darkmatters forums and people asked the same thing before but they didnt like to discuss the issue because they find it a sort of cheating and perhaps if it was still played online it would be cheating. but since its only for offline play i dont see the issue.

in the end i tried to contact the writer of the base10 trainer if he could make a reset the way i needed it, but he didnt reply. so i decided to finish the game with the riding skill and use the base10 trainer at level 50 or i could export and use the editor (in which you almost change anything)

i have finished silver at level 42 now, and think i might as well use the editor and replace the riding skill with dual wielding.

Well, glad to see you could enjoy the game anyway. And also, you can now indeed just use the editor to replace Riding with Dual Wielding, as you needed to export the character anyway. Or have you already done that?

Oh, and yeah, customizable goblin- (or any other enemy for that matter) cutters FTW!
