After some initial problems getting this to work ( and subsequent help from gog) I can safely say this game exceeded my expectations. Thoroughly enjoying every minute.

My only grumble (and it's a very small one) is seeing that halfway through the game you notice that many of the trees are actually upside down. You walk into them and they prop themselves up lol. The main part is in the ground and the base is protruding upward. At first I thought it was a bush or something and them 'ker-ching' ...transformers lol. Has anyone else noticed this? How the team that put this remixed version together never noticed is beyond me! /shrug

To me it ain't that good. While technically superb, the game itself is extremely repetitive - here's some hacking and slashing (nowhere near Severance in terms of combat model complexity), here's some pretty fun platform jumping, here's some "puzzle" solving. All that throughout the game's 44 levels or so. The game was tedious and its ending utterly disappointing. What a shame.

I do want to try its multiplayer mode out, though. Seems really fun, even if the single player campaign was an underwhelming experience.

Is Severance even around anymore? I never got a chance to play it.

Until you go online and realise that it's hard as nails and more complex than the singleplayer campaign led you to believe :)
Actually I tried it online too and still wasn't impressed. Should've chosen Redline instead
