I recently finished Runaway 3 and I find it interesting how the ending toned down the alien theme of Runaway 2. I liked it, despite the fact that it brings some minor continuity issues between the two game, because it brought the series closer to the atmosphere of the first game. I think that second game went bit too far into fantasy territory with the alien theme and pirate dreams.

And I was wondering what others were thinking about this, would you have liked to see more direct sequel to Runaway 2 or were you happy, like me, that the series returned closer to it's original roots?
