Hi! I'm essentially a newbie in these forums and I'm really sorry if I post it in the wrong place, but I'm desperate because I like this game a lot.

I'll be allowed to play for like, 20 minutes solid with no issues, and then I'll get this error, telling me that it's terminating my game and it will produce a log in my Documents/Risen/Dumps folder. Which I don't have to begin with. So I've never actually seen any of the logs.

Have I done anything wrong? I've heard it's a somewhat common problem but I find no solution anywhere. Please advise if you can, thank you!!

I've never heard of that one before, but I see from a cursory search that you're not the only one having this problem.

I'd start with making sure your graphics drivers are up-to-date.

Beyond that, I don't know. Hopefully someone else does.
